White Sparrow Barn Wedding Photographer

This past March I was able to attend a day of Kayla Barker’s workshop at the White Sparrow in Dallas, Texas- and it was so amazing! I am just now getting around to blogging my images from the workshop, but I think it will be worth the wait. I was honestly blown away by how open and helpful Kayla was not only during the teaching portion in the morning, but also during the actual shoot in the afternoon. Kayla didn’t allow her own interests to get ahead of the importance of the attendees which was really special. We have all gone to “workshops” that are more about the host getting the shoot published than they are about the host teaching and pouring into the attendees. This was NOT one of those workshops!

I have been following Kayla for almost ten years, since she shot a friend’s wedding in Midland. I can honestly say that her images from that wedding were one of those initial sparks that got me really interested in wedding photography and wondering what my life could look like as a photographer.  If you don’t know her, you need to go follow her and all the other amazing vendors from this shoot. There is more pretty than I could even fit into a blog post, but I hope you enjoy the images and find some inspiration for your own wedding style from the incredible styling and design in this shoot!
