Chateau Selah is an absolute dream for a wedding photographer! The Chateau was the perfect romantic setting for Kayla and Blaine’s spring wedding. One of my favorite elements of Chateau Selah weddings are the breathtaking views which make for the most incredible ceremony photos. As a photographer you always want to capture each detail, and there were more beautiful details than I can fit into a blog post from this gorgeous wedding. I have never had a Bride handle her own floral design, but Kayla and her mother did such a stunning job with each and every arrangement. I still can’t believe that they did them all by themselves! My favorite design detail from this wedding was how they dressed up the ceremony arbor and did something unique and different than any other wedding I have seen at Chateau Selah. It really added to the romantic style of the day and softened the arbor for an intimate feel during the ceremony. Kayla’s fitted lace dress from Annie’s Room and her cathedral length veil was paired perfectly with her Bridesmaids blush colored lace dresses. One of the really fun elements of this wedding was the llamas that Kayla and Blaine had to mingle with their guests during Cocktail Hour. The llamas were so sweet and really photogenic! I was sort of nervous that the camera would stress them out, but they were so friendly and gentle with all the guests. They even made the most adorable noises and did not spit one time (I promise, I was nervous about that too!) I hope you enjoy some of the images from their beautiful wedding as much as I do. Cheering for you guys!
Hugs,
Madeline x
